What does a typical day look like?
A typical day at a Soul Mountain Retreat starts off with having a light breakfast with your fellow attendees. At 9:00 am we will begin our morning with a lesson by Sherri. We will feed you a delicious light lunch and have snacks in the afternoon. Beverages available all day to keep you hydrated, and chocolate to keep you in good spirits! You will have time to journal, time to make art, time to take a walk along the lake, time to talk with other women, and time to do whatever else might be nourishing for your soul. We will gather to cook dinner together and share a nourishing meal around a beautifully decorated table. Followed by a delectable dessert, of course! The evenings include more time to work on art, wonderful sharing time, and all sorts of magical experiences. At the end of the night, you can retire to your room for a restful night of sleep so you can do it all over again the next day!
We will do our best to make this a memorable and special experience for you!
Soul Mountain Retreats are a vacation from the life that you have been waiting for and experience of a lifetime. Our goal is to make sure that you have the time of your life while making lifelong friendships, and especially that you go back to your life a stronger, more joyful woman, feeling on-track and ready to be exactly who you are and to do exactly what is in your heart.
Should I come by myself, or should I invite a friend to attend?
For the optimal experience we recommend that you come by yourself. It is not against any rules to come with someone! We truly believe that you will get the most out of Soul Mountain Retreats if you come without anyone who knows you. You will more free to explore your truths without judgement! We promise that once you arrive, you WILL not feel alone!
Can I come again if I’ve already attended a Soul Mountain Retreat?
Absolutely! Your second experience can be even more wonderful than the first!

Other FAQS
What airport do I fly into?
Gunnison is the closest airport at 1 hour away, Montrose is 2 hours and Grand Junction is 3.5 hours away.
You will want to make sure your flight and drive time to Lake City gets you in in time for our welcome dinner on Wednesday night at 6:30!
What kind of weather should I expect?
Bring layers. It is cool in the mornings and evenings, and it could be chilly during the day if we get rain. Otherwise, the sun is very warm! Sunscreen is a must. The fall colors are beautiful, we will be walking around the lake taking it all in, so bring walking shoes, and a swimsuit or shorts (in case we have time to use the kayaks).
We will have a more detailed packing list to send upon registration.
What about computers and cell phones?
We are 100% unplugged at Soul Mountain Retreats. We ask that you leave your laptops and iPads and such at home and turn OFF your cell phones during our days at the retreat. You can feel free to check in with your loved ones in the evenings, but this is a very important part of what makes the retreats so special! And don’t worry, your loved ones will have an emergency contact number so that you can be reached if needed. You deserve this to be the best experience possible and unplugging is a critical part of that. (When was the last time you were in a room with a group of people where no one was texting or checking their messages?). You’ll be able to really focus on yourself and the incredible experiences you are having. Trust us, it will be okay.
What about women who are couples?
Because of the dynamics of the retreat and it is not a couple’s retreat, we do not invite women who are couples to attend together. They are certainly invited to attend separate retreats, however. Because none of the other women have their partners in attendance, the interaction is far different than in a couples retreat session.
Is tuition refundable?
In short, no. There is an enormous amount of expense and advance preparation that goes into preparing for each individual guest. Registrations are transferable to another person only up to two months before the retreat. So, if something comes up that prevents you from coming, you are free to sell your spot to another person. The other option is to attend a retreat at a later date. Please contact us at soulmountainretreat@gmail.com for details on how to do that. You will see the entire refund policy as part of the registration process. Please be sure to read it carefully before you complete your registration.
Your retreat experience will be completely unique to you. I have never experienced anything like it before. It exceeded my expectations! It will be something that I never forget, something that set my feet on a brave new path, something that helps me to live a more joyful and purposeful life! Something that compelled me to share with the world! I wish the same for you!
