Vintage well loved, distressed hand tooled leather belt adorned with an antique horse bridle rosette affixed to rusty element. This piece has such beautiful rustic character.

Bridle Rosettes date from the 1800’s - 1950’s. They were first used by the U.S. Calvary. Each had significant characteristic and meaning for the horses owner. The Rosettes were created with glass domes, enclosing hand-painted artwork, dye cuts, pictures and photographs. They are truly a piece on artwork on their own.
